The Spirit of Fear is a spirit that comes in your life to keep you from progressing to your destiny.
The Spirit of Fear has a goal and its aim is to keep you stuck in certain areas of your life. The spirit came to destroy you, to steal from, and to kill you. Ultimately, the Devil wants to stop you from reaching your God-given purpose in your life.
There’s a lot of different types of fear.
6 Types of Fear:
1. Fear of no being good enough
2. Fear of progress
3. Fear of rejection
4. Fear of abandonment
5. Fear of certain animals
6. Fear of public speaking
They are all tactics of the enemy. The spirit of fear affects different people in different ways. The enemy uses the fear of public speaking, rejection, abandonment, and not being good enough to keep me in toxic cycles my whole life.

Today, I want to speak about one specific area I struggled which is the spirit of rejection in public speaking.
I was a very happy and smart child growing up. I loved the attention of love shown to me, by my parents and everyone else. However, everything changed when I was sexually abused from the age of 5 or 6 to age 13. The experience was very traumatic for me to deal with. After that, I became very shy and awkward. I didn’t like to talk to people, and I went into a shell to hide. Just like a turtle, I’d peep out now and then.
In school, I had a stuttering problem. When the teacher would call up me to read in class the words just couldn’t come out. I was teased and laughed at by my classmates and it became even harder for me to talk.
Over the years, it became a little better. However, a part of me was still locked in a box and I just couldn’t find the key to come out. It became so hard after a while, and I felt so wound up like I was a jack in the box: (Jack in the box is a puppet that uses a key to wound it up and then it just pops out.) And, I just couldn’t take it anymore.
I prayed and asked God to help me. In my prayer I said, “I need your help. I don’t know what to do with my life. I feel stuck at a cross road and don’t know which way to turn.”
He answered my prayer by showing me a lot of books to read. As I read them I recognize myself and I didn’t like the person I saw. So, I intentionally made up my mind I was going to do the necessary work for my healing, it was a very long and hard journey.
I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and He was the key that opened that box I was stuck in. He set me free.
In the year 2011, I was at my Church and this Evangelist Lady was visiting and she prayed for me.
She asked for olive oil and said, “I don’t know you, it’s the first time I’m seeing you, the Holy Spirit said to tell you this is what you’re going to use to win souls for the kingdom of Go.” and then, she used the olive to anoint my mouth and set me free.
Lol, from that time onward I can’t stop talking.
Now I don’t have any fear of speaking to a lot of people publicly. I have overcome that spirit of fear by the Holy Spirit of God; he’s stronger and mightier than the spirit in this world.
Remember, the spirit of fear came to kill, to destroy, and to steal away all that God has in store for us. The enemy wanted to stop me from being a Transformational Life Coach and author of No Masks!

The bible says God has not given us a spirit of fear but the power of love and a sound mind. Praise God for whom all blessings flow. Praise him!
Praise him Father son and Holy Ghost. God is love, he loves us unconditionally.
